Our work
Education is the first step towards independence. We build schools, train teachers and distribute school supplies so that every child, whatever their background, can learn, grow and build their future.
Building schools
In many rural areas, children have no classroom. We build schools from local, durable materials adapted to the climate. Each school welcomes between 150 and 300 pupils and includes classrooms, a library and sanitation. Our local teams handle maintenance and educational follow-up.
Distributing school supplies
Exercise books, textbooks, pencils, school bags: supplies that millions of children lack. Every year we distribute more than 15,000 complete school kits in the schools we support. A €25 kit lets a child study for a whole year.
Training teachers
Without qualified teachers, there is no quality education. We run continuing training sessions for local teachers on active teaching methods, classroom management and the inclusion of children with special educational needs. 95 teachers have been trained since 2019.
